| Overview: |
TF1002 is a total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) fluorometer equipped with a computer-controlled fluidic system. The sensitivity of the TIRF Fluorometer TF1002 is at the level of single molecule detection. TF1002 is a cost effective system with manual docking of TIRF slides and manual loading of bioanalyte solutions. The system is supplied with chemically modified silica TIRF slides and reagent kits for convenient immobilization of different biomolecules.
No other technique exists that can monitor fluorescence polarization, quenching, resonance energy transfer (FRET), recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) for analysis of biomolecular interactions in real-time and with sensitivity at the level of single-molecule detection. Electrochemical and temperature control are available as options. Chemically clean TIRF slides and chemically modified slides with reactive amine, aldehyde, epoxy groups, biotinylited and streptavidin coated TIRF slides are available as consumables. Chemically modified TIRF slides are supplied with reagent kits and protocols for surface immobilization of biomolecules such as proteins, lipids and nucleic acids.
